There are two ways to join the BPG
Option #1 -- In Person
Join in person by bringing the original copy of your doctor's
letter of recommendation and your state-issued photo ID to the BPG
during regular business hours. If you have a medical cannabis ID
card, you may bring that as well. Please note that medical cannabis
ID cards are optional under state law. Your membership will be pending
until we verify your letter of recommendation. You
may not be able to receive services on the same day you join.
Option #2 — By Fax
You can fax your letter of recommendation
and a completed online registration form in advance of your first
visit. This way, you can be sure that your letter has been verified
before you arrive. To register in advance, print a copy of the

Brochure and Online
Advance Registration Form by clicking the links below. Be
sure to read the New Member Brochure carefully. It contains important
information about your membership.
Fax your completed registration form and your letter of recommendation
to the BPG at (510) 540-1928.
It usually takes 2-3 business days to complete the verification.
You can check the status of your registration by calling us at
(510) 540-6013
during regular business hours.
Be sure to sign your online
registration form as we must have your permission to verify your
recommendation.
